2026 ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting (1-5 May 2026)

In my role as the 2026 Douglas Joseph Professor of Anaesthesia I was the Australasian Visiting Keynote Speaker at the 2026 Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists’ Annual Scientific Meeting, that was held in Aukland, New Zealand from 1-5 May 2026. My presentations included the plenary talk titled

The CSAR Model of Preeclampsia – From Curiosity to Transformation

Additionally I presented the talks titled

Critical Emergencies in Obstetric Anaesthesia

This included discussion of the important topic of heart failure (HFrEF and HFpEF) in pregnant patients with preeclampsia

I was a Keynote Speaker at The 2025 Australian Society of Anaesthetists’ National Scientific Congress, Canberra, ACT, Australia from 2-5 October 2025. My presentations included the Saturday morning Plenary Session titled
