and also the closing Plenary Session

Additionally I presented in the Obstetric Anaesthesia SIG session, giving a talk entitled

2026 ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting (1-5 May 2026)
In my role as the 2026 Douglas Joseph Professor of Anaesthesia I will be the Australasian Visiting Keynote Speaker at the 2026 Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists’ Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held in Aukland, New Zealand from 1-5 May 2026. My presentations will include the plenary talk titled

Additionally I will be giving the talks titled
Critical Emergencies in Obstetric Anaesthesia
This will include the important topic of heart failure (HFrEF and HFpEF) in pregnant patients with preeclampsia
